The Ohio Fairy Gardening Festival is held in Jefferson, Ohio at 104 East Jefferson St. in June. The 2020 event will be Saturday, June 20th from 10-5 PM. This festival is for young and old alike. It is a wonderful way to introduce children and adults to the art of miniature gardening with a bit of glitter, magic, and Fairies. Generous donations from the Ashtabula County Visitors Bureau and Andover Bank help make this all free. Free parking and free entry. There are many contests during the day that include:
- Crowning the Fairy Godmother and Fairy Princess at the festival each year
- Fairy garden contest for adults and children
- Fairy costume contest for adults, children, and pets
- Fairy coloring contest for children
- Fairy House contest
- Free Face Painting sponsored by the Henderson Memorial Library
- Free Bounce House
There are also plenty of things to do while there. Stroll the grounds enjoying the many craft vendors, Fairy Crafts, kids get your face painted, play in the Bounce House, enjoy the delicious food available and you MUST get your picture taken with the miniature Unicorn! See our Fairy Godmother crowned and our Fairy Princess for 2020.
