Ohio Fairy Gardening Festival

The Ohio Fairy Gardening Festival is held in Jefferson, Ohio at 104 East Jefferson St. on  June 18th 2022 from 10-5pm.  This festival is for young and old alike. It is a wonderful way to introduce children and adults to the world of Fairies and the art of miniature gardening with a bit of glitter, magic, and Fairies. Generous large donations from the Andover Bank and the Jefferson Nazarene Church help make this all free. Free parking and free entry. There are many events and contests during the day that include:

  • The arrival of the Fairy Godmother and Fairy Princess at the festival
  • Fairy garden contest for adults and children
  • Fairy costume contest for children, and pets
  • Free Face Painting sponsored by the Henderson Memorial Library and a paid Face Painting vendor
  • Free Bounce House
  • Pictures with the Unicorn and Mermaids
  • The Lady Bug Critter show three times during the day
  • Stilt Walker and balloon artist strolling the grounds
  • Get your picture in front of the Fairy mural
  • Lots of food and Fairy good craft vendors

There are also plenty of things to do while there. Stroll the grounds enjoying the many craft vendors, join the children’s and pet costume contests. They will do a costume parade throughout the grounds. Enter the Fairy Garden Contest with the theme Lake Erie. It will require water and a Fairy in it. There will be Fairy many Crafts, food and kids get your face painted, play in the free Bounce House, enjoy the delicious food available and you MUST get your picture taken with the miniature Unicorn, stilt walker, Fairy Godmother, Fairy Princess, and Mermaids! See our Fairy Godmother and our Fairy Princess arrives at 10:00 AM. They will be strolling the grounds to get your picture with them. Jefferson Depot Strawberry Festival– Same day and time as our festival across the street less than a half-block, you can walk there! Make sure to stop by to get a homemade strawberry shortcake and visit the restored authentic 1800’s village. This is a hidden gem in our quaint village and MUST see!

The Refindery– Another wonderful shop to step back in time for antiques and repurposed items from many different treasures for sale by local people. Get your treasures!

The Diner– An Iconic restaurant only a real diner can be. Featured on One Tank Trips!

Dairy Delight- Amazing ice cream with weekly homemade flavors in an old building that has been many eateries, including an old A&W. They will be serving their great ice cream at this years festival!

Wall Street Coffee Shop– Not only the best coffee in town, but great food and sweets too!
