2018 Memorial Day Parade Application

You are invited to participate in our annual parade on Monday May 28, 2018 11:00 am.

 

Prizes Awarded:  $50 first place and $25 second place and one $75 prize for BEST of PARADE (judges decision is final) Entries are judged for creativity & originality, colorful & eye/crowd appeal.

 Parade winners will be printed in the Gazette. Checks will be mailed and made payable to the Group/Entry Name Applicant.

 

Line up will be at Huntington Bank at 10:00am. ALL FLOATS/UNITS MUST USE WEST JEFERSON TO HUNTINGTON BANK! PLEASE ENTER & CHECK YOUR UNIT THERE.  ALL FLOAT RIDERS or WALKERS must also use the West Jefferson to Huntington Bank.  For the safety of everyone, we are not allowing cars to park in the Bank Parking lot or the Gazette. Only vehicles that are in the parade are permitted in this area! [Please drop your children off using the West Jefferson entrance.  [Floats are specifically asked to load their unit’s onsite]. Equestrian units- you will park & unload at the Court House. Parade Marshalls with florescent vests & radios will be posted at the entrances. Please have your unit number ready.
